Approaching from the M6 and Kirkby Lonsdale

From junction 37 of the M6, follow the A684 to Sedbergh (about 5 miles). (If coming from Kirkby Lonsdale join the A684 just outside Sedbergh). As you reach the centre of Sedbergh, pass the Dalesman pub and the post office on your left, then in 20 metres turn right. In 150 metres turn left at the mini-roundabout. This is Back Lane. Primrose Cottage, no. 17, is about 150 metres on the left, the only property with an enclosed porch. It is painted yellow.

Approaching from Hawes

Come into Sedbergh on the A684 and turn left at the T junction. In about 250 metres the road divides. The right hand fork is no entry. Primrose Cottage, no. 17, is about 100 metres on the right, the only property with an enclosed porch. It is painted yellow.

Approaching from Kirkby Stephen

Come into Sedbergh on the A683. Pass the road off to Hawes (A684) on your right. In about 250 metres after this the road divides. The right hand fork is no entry. Primrose Cottage, no. 17, is about 100 metres on the right, the only property with an enclosed porch. It is painted yellow.
